It’s funny how Christians who claim to go by the Bible alone, and down play the idea of learning from other Christians through good Christian books or Bible Commentaries, seem to have identical beliefs with everyone else in their type of churches. They think they interpret the Bible in an unbiased way, yet they’ve been indoctrinated by church messages Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, and Wednesday nights. This is NOT “the Bible alone!”

It has been said that God is timeless. And I’ll say, “So what’s that?” And They’ll say, “That God exists outside our time, space, matter universe.” And I’ll ask again, “So what’s that?” And they’ll say, “I don’t know.” Lol. And I’ll say, “The reason you don’t know, is because you don’t know what ‘time’ is?” Time is the measurement of movement. Your view puts God in a frozen pose. God’s time is unending, not timeless.

A Divine Work

How was the atonement of Christ applied to believers? It is because of substitution that justification occurs by faith. Since saving faith and justification are blood bought accomplishments of the cross to take care of unbelief and unrighteousness (by imputation, not infusion); the “application” of this substitutionary work occurs at conversion. In eternity it was planned, at Calvary it was accomplished, and at conversion it was applied.
