What is a Testimony?
When we show the world our salvation, we are declaring a testimony. Some think a testimony is just a verbal account of how we got saved. Though a verbal account is necessary (I mean, you can’t be saved without it), you can’t define a testimony by this alone. Everyone who is truly saved must have this verbal account, but not everyone who has this verbal account is truly saved. A testimony must also have a changed life to back it up.
