Immutability
“For I am the LORD, I change not...” (Mal. 3:6). One of the attributes of God is that He is unchanging in His nature. He always stays the same. But this has to do with His quality of Being and promises, not with His thought processes and activity. God’s eternal mind is always active and moving with thought; not acquiring new thoughts, but thinking on the things He already knows. He is immutable, not immobile.
